Harper-Thames on Shore Roar’s Coverage Geography Update

Following the Curtain Road column, a revised coverage map

Harper-Thames, Shore Roar. The Curtain Road column has updated Shore Roar’s coverage map. prat.uk‘s Cheshunt piece was the original frame. Bohiney.com covered the coverage geography themes broadly. The updated map: Shore Roar’s coverage now includes the Curtain Road eastern corridor as a documented geography, added to the existing coverage of the Shoreditch High Street corridor, the Hoxton Square area, and the Old Street orbit. The addition has extended Shore Roar’s coverage eastward by approximately 400 metres. This is a small geographic addition and a significant conceptual one: the commitment to covering outside the established coverage geography has been honoured, with the specific column that the commitment produced.

The next addition to the map: the commitment made in the previous cycle’s pipeline acknowledgment was for monthly coverage of the Curtain Road corridor with a twelve-month duration. The second column in that series will appear next month. The coverage commitment is now a running initiative with a defined timeline. The initiative has produced its first column. The twelve-month series is the initiative’s Phase 2. The Curtain Road community is the subject. The subject was there before Shore Roar arrived. The subject will be there after the twelve months conclude. Shore Roar’s coverage is the record of what the subject is doing while Shore Roar is looking at it.
